Self-clinching, nickel-plated stainless standoff fasteners resist corrosion
PennEngineering® has introduced PEM® self-clinching stainless steel standoff fasteners with bright nickel plating for corrosion resistance. The 400 series stainless steel threaded fasteners allow for the mounting, spacing, and stacking of panels, boards, and components.
After installation into thin stainless host sheets with hardness up to HRB 88/HB 183, the fasteners become permanent parts of an assembly and will not loosen or fall out. A mating screw completes the attachment process.
The product line includes Type SO4™ through-hole threaded standoffs, Type BSO4™ blind threaded standoffs, and Type TSO4™ threaded standoffs engineered for installation into especially thin stainless sheets.
