Self-clinching pilot pins available in several variations

PEM® self-clinching pilot pins from PennEngineering® are offered in a variety of designs for positioning, alignment, and pivot applications. They install in thin metal sheets and become permanent parts of an assembly.

Type TPS™ (300 series stainless steel) pins install in steel or aluminum sheets and Type TP4™ (400 series stainless steel) pins are designed for stainless steel assemblies. Both types install flush in sheets as thin as 0.040 in.

Type TPXS™ pins, made of 300 series stainless steel, have a 15-degree tapered point to locate and engage the mating hole. Type MPP™ micropins install into stainless steel or other sheet materials as thin as 0.020 in.
