Structural acrylic adhesives simplify production of large assemblies
3M™ offers Scotch-Weld™ acrylic adhesive DP8425NS and low-odor acrylic adhesive DP8825NS. The products reach handling strength in 45 min. and structural strength (1,000 PSI) in 50 min.
According to the manufacturer, the adhesives help simplify the production of large assemblies because workers do not have to switch out mixing nozzles or clean up cured adhesive.
In addition to expanding process work time up to 25 min., the adhesives offer an 18-month shelf life and a high impact of resistance, the company states. They are available in low-odor and nonflammable formulas.
