4-axis SCARA robot offered with three different reaches

Comau has introduced Rebel-S, a 4-axis SCARA robot, in five different models with a payload of 13 lbs. and three different reaches. All models are controlled by the R1C 19-in. rack-mounted controller, which can be integrated into a single cabinet to control an entire line.

An openRobotics version is available in which the robot is integrated into the existing machine/line automation controlled by B&R technologies. The robot, which is not articulated, offers a variety of mounting positions and use spacers to extend the robot’s reach.

Reaches of 17.7, 23.6, and 29.5 in. are available. All three can be mounted on the floor or wall, and the latter two models can be configured for ceiling mounting.
