Cleaner automatically removes spatter, slag from robotic torches

The Ream Master torch cleaner from Great Lakes Automation LLC automatically removes spatter and slag contamination from robotic GMAW nozzles.

The system, which operates on 24-VDC power, wires directly into the robot control or programmable logic controller. Features include an electrical enclosure with fully wired terminal strip; an OSHA lockable air inlet valve; three single solenoid air valves; a 17-ft./lbs.-torque by 600-RPM air motor; combination filter/lubricator; a hardened, high-speed steel reamer cutter; and a powder painted safety cover.
