Orbital welding system captures welding information for reporting - TheFabricator.com

The APEX™ 2100 orbital GTAW system is available from Lincoln Electric. Housed in a modular cabinet, the system integrates a welding power source, controller, water cooler, and accessories required to drive the orbital weld head and pipe clamping system.

The system monitors, adjusts, and controls welding parameters throughout the welding process while capturing welding information and data for future analytical and statistical reporting. The HELIX™ T55 weld head and patent-pending, gear-driven track ring system are designed to be simple to install and position on pipes for welding in confined or restricted spaces and in locations with lack of visibility.
