A heavy-duty, three-axis welding positioner configuration is available from Wolf Robotics in load capacities of 1,102 and 1,653 lbs. per side.

The positioner has a Ferris wheel-type interchange between stations for operator loading and unloading while a robot is welding on the other side. The swing radius of the positioner is available in 3.94-in. increments, from 47.24 to 78.74 in., and the distance between headstock and tailstock can be from 78.74 to 157.48 in. in 9.84-in. increments.

Designed for robotic welding applications, the positioners can achieve full coordinated motion when integrated into a robotic welding system using ABB or FANUC robots. A solid divider panel protects the operator from arc flash, and a cable track system protects and prolongs the life of electrical cables and hoses.
