Press brake capacity expanded

Bystronic has announced the expansion of the standard capacity for the Xpert press brake up to 1,100 U.S. tons and 33 ft. in length. With its hydraulic crowning system, the machine is suited for the bending of heavy plate and very long parts.

A multiaxis controller directs the pressure reference system. The control is based on a modular electronic system in conjunction with modern block hydraulics. A comprehensive, expandable database supplies all necessary values during the bending process. The database is activated by a push of a button.

The press brake features automatic frame deflection compensation, pressure regulation, automatic tool protection, and material thickness measurement compensation.
