Static holding brake includes emergency-stop function

Desch Canada Ltd. has introduced the new Servox® brake for press manufacturing. Suitable for use in mechanical servo presses, or as a static holding brake with emergency-stop function or dynamic safety brake, the unit provides a low inner-mass moment of inertia and is free of friction corrosion.
Designed for all common hub-shaft connections, such as feather key, spline, and clamping devices, the brake features hydraulic release with spring application and organic friction materials/steel liners.
