Tube bender switches from clockwise to counterclockwise bending

Transfluid offers the t bend DB 630 CNC bending machine for pipes up to 1.65 in. dia. While the machine usually processes the parts in a clockwise direction, it can be converted to counterclockwise bending for smaller diameters.

For the processing of smaller pipe diameters, a quick change of the bending direction is accomplished in less than 2 sec. via two individually applicable bending heads: one standing clockwise head and one hanging counterclockwise head.

Another machine variant for clockwise/counterclockwise bending is a turning head, suitable for all pipe diameters. All the axes are servo electrically driven and there are two tool layers on each bending head.

Both systems can be automated using simple magazines for component stock loading. Even in the case of different geometries, pipes can be manufactured in pairs. Robots also can be added for material handling throughout the bending process.
