Industrial ceiling fan equipped with LED

The Big Ass Fan® Co. has introduced the Powerfoil® X LED-equipped industrial ceiling fan. The LED delivers as much light as a 400-W metal halide, covering the entire diameter of the fan while using less than 175 W. The tempered glass lens is designed to minimize glare. The light ties directly into an existing lighting grid for control.

The fan uses 1- to 2-HP motors to generate large volumes of gentle air movement to cool large areas. The LED eliminates any need to rearrange lighting grids to avoid a shadowing effect from the fan.
