All-electric tube bender performs left-hand, right-hand, variable radius bending in multistack configuration

BLM's Smart is a new all-electric tube bender with 3-D visual graphic programming (VGP3D) software capable of bending tubes up to 1.10 in. in diameter. The bender can perform left-hand, right-hand, and variable-radius bending in a multistack configuration.

The machine can be equipped with an automatic loader and is configured with an automatic unloading feature. The software performs iterative bending cycles to check for collision risks and automatically selects the most efficient feasible bending sequences.

The bender is suitable for bending tubes with complex shapes, multiple bending radii, and preassembled fittings and end forms.
