Fin press designed for HVAC, refrigeration applications in heat transfer industry

Burr Oak Tool Inc. has introduced the new OAK FP-1400 fin press and line for HVAC and refrigeration applications in the heat transfer industry.

The press features a 160-ton rating for increased manufacturing capacity, and its solid modeling and added weight contribute to press rigidity for consistent product output, the manufacturer states. It can handle high tensile fin stocks, numerous holes, and thick materials common in refrigeration.

A balanced platform minimizes vibrations. The electronic servofeed centers and balances the forces on the feed shaft and allows access to the left side of the press and die. The press operator can program the fin length using a touchscreen on the control panel.
