Abrasive waterjet cutting system available in two models, including a modular, expandable design

Bystronic offers the Byjet Classic abrasive waterjet cutting system in the Classic 3015 (5 by 10 ft.) model or in the Classic L (10 by 32 ft.) model. The base frame of the Classic L model is a modular construction that can be expanded in 6.5-ft. increments based on the end user's needs.

All models can be equipped with up to two High Precision Technology (HPT) abrasive waterjet cutting heads with automatic head spacing, height sensing, and collision protection on each cutting head.

The system includes a CNC abrasive metering and automatic abrasive monitoring system standard. A CNC drill spindle allows for the predrilling of composites and other laminated materials.

The Bysoft CAD/CAM software package is included with the system and optimizes nesting for multihead waterjet cutting. The ByVision control provides a Windows®-based operator interface.
