Design software made for large assemblies, data sets

IronCAD has released its 2017 IronCAD Design Collaboration Suite, which is designed to make it faster to work with large data sets and to reduce the overall design time from concept to production detailing.

According to the company, save and load times for large assemblies are up to 30 percent faster, and graphics performance when interacting with large assemblies is 10 times quicker. The software also offers faster regeneration times on complex models and faster updates on 2-D drawings of larger assemblies.

Improvements in the modeling area include 2-D sketch, sweeping, and sheet metal. 2-D detailing has been improved in both the detailing and draft detailing environment, with such enhancements as revision tables, BOM editing, and improved processes to commands.
