Battery-powered cutoff/angle grinder offers increased run time
Makita® has released the XAG06M cutoff/angle grinder. The brushless, cordless, 4.5-in. paddle switch tool is powered by an 18-V LXT® lithium-ion 4.0-Ah battery.
The grinder features Automatic Speed Change™ technology, which adjusts speed and torque during grinding or cutting applications, even under heavy load. In addition, the efficient BL™ brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50 percent longer run time per charge than similar nonbrushless tools, according to the manufacturer.
