Cutting wheel made for heavy-duty steel, stainless steel applications

Walter Surface Technologies has introduced ZIP+ XTRA, a new cutting wheel designed to easily cut through steel and stainless steel in heavy-duty applications. It features the company’s patented rib design to help reduce friction on the surface for faster and cooler cutting.

The 0.0625-in.-thick wheel is designed with a new formulation of zirconium grains that remain durable against tough materials, the company reports. It is available in 4.5 and 5 in. dia.
