Grinding wheel is 0.25 in. thick for additional life

Rex-Cut Abrasives has expanded its Sigma Green grinding wheel line to include Sigma Green Max, a 0.25-in.-thick version designed for added life. The wheel is produced from bonded resin with a combination of grains that enable it to grind extremely fast compared to other products without sacrificing finish, the company states.

Suitable for use on metals such as stainless steel, mild steel, hardface, titanium, alloys, and aluminum, the grinding wheel is suitable for use in industries such as foundries, tank fabrication, shipbuilding, and power utilities.

The wheel is available in 36 grit in 4.5-, 5-, and 7-in.-dia. sizes.
