Narrow-crown technology extended to 4.5-, 5-in. cutting wheels
Walter Surface Technologies has extended its product portfolio of patented narrow-crown technology to all 4.5- and 5-in. Zipcut, Zip+, Zip Stainless, and Zip ALU cutting wheels.
The Type 27 narrow-crown technology combines the extended life of a flat Type 1 wheel with the extra stiffness of a depressed-center cutting wheel. A refined metal cladding in the center hub helps increase safety by preventing contact with the workpiece and allows operators to reach deeper cutting depths.
