Portable end prep tool designed to remove simply from tube and not catch on burrs

Esco Tool’s Ground MILLHOG® is a right-angle-drive, air-powered, portable welding end prep tool that features a clamp rib assembly incorporating a captive internal band and smooth clamp ribs. The ID clamping tool removes simply from the tube, does not catch on burrs, and is unaffected by repetitive cycling, the company claims.
The scarfing tool requires a 1.5-in. radial clearance. Sealed for use in any orientation, it is self-centering, provides torque-free operation, has TiN-coated cutter blades, and can prep high-chrome-content alloyed tubes from 0.5 in. ID to 2.25 in. OD.
