Pferd offers 0.045-in.-thick T-SGP cutoff wheels in diameters of 4.5, 5, and 6 in. Suitable for cutting steel sheet and tube stock, the flat wheels feature a 0.875-in. arbor hole and offer low vibration and smooth cutting performance, according to the company.
The new wheel is part of the T-Hardness SG-Plus line of cutoff wheels for steel, available in 4.5- through 9-in. dia. with thicknesses from 0.040 in. for thin sheet and thin-wall tube through 0.094 in. for universal cutting of steel workpieces. Product selections include flat (Type 1) and depressed center (Type 27).
