Belt-drive pressure washers have mobility options

Hotsy has introduced a Gas Engine series of hot water pressure washers with various mobility options. Available in several configurations, the belt-drive pressure washer models are designed for commercial cleaning.

The standard pressure washer has a trailer-mount chassis but can be converted into a portable unit with two wheels and two casters for maneuvering on concrete or flat surfaces. The chassis is available in a skid unit, allowing it to be moved by a forklift. A four-wheel pressure washer kit is offered with pneumatic tires, allowing portability on gravel surfaces.

All four pressure washer models feature the company's triplex belt-drive pump, in which the belt acts as a dampener for vibrations and pressure spikes to allow smooth operation.

The models are available in 9-, 13-, and 16-HP versions; two models are powered by a Honda engine, one by a Robin Subaru, and the fourth by a Vanguard. All models produce 3,000 to 3,500 PSI of water pressure and up to 4.6 GPM of flow volume.

Most models have a Sch.-80 heating coil with stainless steel skin to provide durability in harsh elements, to resist corrosion, and to tolerate rough treatment. The upright burner maintains a constant temperature, using fuel oil to heat water.

Options include a wheel kit and handle for portability and a hose reel for simplified storage.

The pressure washers are ETL-certified to UL-1776 safety standards.
