Compact dump station facilitates adding dry materials to processes

Tech Packaging Group LLC has introduced its series 2600 bag/pail dump station. Available with or without a self-contained dust collection fan and filter, the unit facilitates manually adding small amounts of dry materials from bags or pails to the manufacturing process.

Dust can be collected through an external system or an optional self-contained fan and filter assembly. Filter material is application-specific and can be engineered for particles down to 1 micron. A mesh safety grate with an inward-hinged door enhances air velocity across the work surface while reducing the need for overall fan capacity.

The unit can be manufactured from carbon or stainless steel and can be integrated with loss-in-weight feeders and a bulk bag discharge system to provide a full-batch metering system.
