Fiber laser cutting system available in 6-kW configuration

Mazak Optonics Corp. offers the Optiplex Fiber II 6-kW fiber laser cutting system for high-speed cutting of a variety of materials. The machine features a multicontrol torch as standard equipment, eliminating the need for short-, medium-, and long-focus torches.

The system has auto nozzle changing, auto focus positioning, auto profiler calibration, focus detection, beam diameter control, and auto nozzle cleaning. It also has pierce detection, burn detection, and plasma detection.

The PreView Control has a 15-in. touchscreen. The graphical interface shows the cutting path and automatically determines process conditions, including the required lens, nozzle, feed rate, and laser output for different materials and thicknesses.

The machines are available in 5- by 10-ft. and 6- by 12-ft. configurations.
