Functions added to fiber laser system

Bystronic has introduced the newest generation of the BySprint fiber laser cutting system, expanding the basic version of the machine with an extended performance package and revamped design. It features a larger operator touchscreen panel and three additional functions.

Using a camera system on the cutting bridge, the new Detection Eye function recognizes the precise position of the loaded metal sheet in just a few seconds, reducing setup time by up to 17 seconds with every sheet.

The Power Cut function enables fine cutting of thicknesses up to 1.180 in. It also allows cutting of brass up to 5/8 in. thick, mild steel up to 1.0 in., and aluminum and stainless up to 1.180 in.

The Observer function, a camera-supported remote monitoring system, enables operators to use web-enabled devices to access information about the laser’s production processes.
