Press brake delivers high-tonnage bending with automatic tool change

Amada offers the HG 2204 ATC press brake for variable lot sizes. The company’s patented Automatic Tool Changer (ATC) loads complex tool layouts within 3 min., allowing operators of varied experience levels to use the bending system.

This larger model incorporates all of the standard features of the HG 1003 ATC while delivering 240 tons of pressure, an extended 13-ft. bend length, and an increased 112.8-ft. ATC tool capacity.

A factory-installed sheet follower helps the operator bend large, heavy parts. Parts that typically require multiple operators can be handled by a single person. When not in use, the arms of the sheet follower slide to the right side of the press brake to allow for full machine accessibility.
