Splicing options facilitate faster conveyor belt changes

Dorner Manufacturing Corp. now offers plastic clipper and stainless steel clipper belt splicing options on more than half of its conveyor belts.

Belts with the options can be replaced by removing a pin that holds the spliced belt together. Belt installation involves wrapping the belt around the conveyor, splicing the belt together in the interlocking grooves, and securing it with a pin. Clippers do not protrude above the belt surface.
