Abrasive belt machines' thermal insulation helps prevent cold air transmission to operator

Dynabrade Inc. offers Dynastraight&reg: portable, air-powered abrasive tools for paint and rust removal, refining before final finishing, medium- and fine-grain finishing, and final finishing. The ergonomically designed, lightweight composite housing helps reduce tool vibration, while thermal insulation helps prevent cold air transmission to the operator.

Available in horsepowers from 0.4 to 1, the tools are suitable for use with abrasive-impregnated, nonwoven nylon products; coated abrasive flap wheels; buffs; and nonwoven nylon belts mounted on Dynacushion&reg: inflatable pneumatic wheels.

The straight-line tools feature air motors from 950 to 18,000 RPM. An adjustable-speed air motor and standard muffler help reduce noise levels in the workplace.
