Cordless, portable tools designed for heavy-duty use

Fein Power Tools Inc. has introduced a new series of cordless, portable tools designed for fabricators, contractors, and MRO personnel. The German-designed and -built cordless drill drivers, hammer drills, and impact wrenches are designed to provide powerful torque transfer for metalworking applications, the company reports.

The company offers eight four-speed cordless drills with brushless motor technology and four two-speed models. The tools all have metal gear heads; glass fiber-reinforced, distortion-free, barrel-type motor housings; dustproof bearings; and encapsulated electronics.

The company also offers four two-speed, 0.5-in., cordless hammer drills and four impact wrenches — two 0.5-in. square and two 0.25-in. hex drives. The hammer drills' maximum torque is 2,212 in./lb. and 9,350 to 29,000 impacts/min.
