Abrasive grinding wheels made with precision-shaped grains

3M Abrasive Systems has introduced 3M™ Cubitron™ II bonded abrasive grinding and cutoff wheels. The precision-shaped grains continuously fracture to form sharp points and edges, which helps them cut quickly, stay sharp, and perform with less pressure than conventional grinding and cutoff wheels, according to the manufacturer.
The wheels are designed for use in shipbuilding; structural steel; general metal fabrication; oil and gas; and agriculture, industrial, and construction machinery applications.
