Metabo Corp. offers the SE12-115 burnisher for finishing and polishing stainless steel and other metals.
With accessories such as an expansion roll, sanding and abrasive belts, flap wheels, a stripping wheel, burnishing rings, wire wheels, a fiber brush, and a belt driver, the burnisher can be used for grinding, polishing, sanding, and removing scratches and rust. The unit can accommodate abrasive wheel diameters from 4 to 4.5 in. and widths from 0.625 to 4 in.
The burnisher includes the company's VTC (Vario Tacho Constamatic) electronic speed stabilization for productivity under heavy operating conditions. The machine features a 10-amp motor with 1,200 W of power, 98 in.-lbs. of torque, and a no-load speed of 900 to 2,800 RPM.
The tool features a dust-deflection winding protection grid, overload protection, autostop carbon brushes, and spiral bevel gears.
