Burnisher features electronic speed stabilization

Metabo Corp.'s SE 12-115 burnisher for finishing and polishing stainless steel includes the company's VTC (Vario Tacho Constamatic) electronic speed stabilization.

The 6.25-lb. burnisher's motor has a winding protection grid that deflects dust and debris. Overload protection helps to ensure long service life. Auto-stop carbon brushes protect the motor from damaging arcing that can occur as the carbon brushes wear down. Spiral bevel gears allow for efficient transfer of power from the motor to the spindle, maximizing power and producing quiet operation.

Safety features include double insulation that protects users against electric shock. A spindle lock allows for simplified and safe removal and tightening of the accessories. The tool is rated at 10 amps with an input rating of 1,200 W and has a no-load speed of 900 to 2,810 RPM.
