Cross pads, square pads tackle deburring, grinding applications

Klingspor Abrasives has introduced a new line of cross pads and square pads. The resin-bonded, aluminum-oxide pads are constructed in multilayered strips, secured in the center with a threaded metal grommet.
Cross pad applications include deburring, polishing, and blending radii of aircraft tubing; deburring the back sides of blind holes; polishing the close-tolerance, small radii and channels of turbine structures; and deburring edges and following the contour of hard-to-reach, low-lying areas of soft metal.
Square pad applications include fast grind-blending on channels, fillets, and corners; spotting on flat surfaces; and weld removal on inside corners.
