Flap disks designed to grind, blend in one operation

Rex-Cut Products Inc. has introduced a line of miniature zirconia flap disks in four grit sizes for grinding, blending, and finishing stainless steel, aluminum, and mild steel.

The disks feature a quick-change, Type R fastening system to simplify switching between coarse, medium, fine, and very fine grit sizes of zirconium-grain abrasive. Designed to grind and blend in one operation, the disks provide a controlled grinding action with a cushioned feel, states the company.

Designed for use in right-angle grinders, the disks are suitable for removing machine tool marks, contouring, and general cleaning. They are available in diameters of 2 in. and 3 in. for access to small areas.

The company offers the disks in boxed quantities of 10 and 50 pieces. Applications include weld removal and finishing of frame structures, housings, and vessels.
