Lightweight grinders made for metalworking

Metabo Corp. offers two lightweight angle grinders for cutting, grinding, and deburring in the repair, maintenance, and metalworking industries.

The W720 weighs 4.4 lbs. and has a maximum wheel diameter of 4.5 in. It features a 6.5-amp motor with 720 W of power, 14 in.-lbs. of torque, and a no-load speed of 11,000 RPM. The W820 has a maximum wheel diameter of 5 in. and weighs 4.7 lbs. It features a 7.5-amp motor with 820 W of power, 16-in.-lbs. of torque, and a no-load speed of 10,000 RPM.

A side switch with lock-on capability, a spindle lock, auto-stop carbon brushes, and a burstproof wheel guard come standard on both grinders. They also include an inner flange, a face spanner, an outer nut, and a Type 27 wheel guard.
