A line of mounted points for blending corner welds inside stainless steel tanks and fabrications is available from Rex-Cut Products Inc.

The mounted points feature a laminated construction of nonwoven cotton fiber and abrasive grains that are pressed and bonded into barrel, bullet, conical, and round shapes that can be matched to fit the job.

Constantly revealing fresh abrasives as they grind and blend welds, the mounted points are available with aluminum oxide or silicon carbide abrasives; very fine to coarse grain sizes; soft, medium, and hard bonds; and 0.25- and 0.125-in. shanks. Industry-standard A, B, and W shapes are included in several sizes; they also can be dressed by the user.
