Pass-through blaster uses fuseless starters - TheFabricator.com

Viking Blast & Wash Systems has released the CB 3630 pass-through blaster. The redesigned unit has a blast width of 36 by 30 in.

The blaster incorporates fuseless starters with phase loss and imbalance protection. Zero speed sensors are standard on the driven end of abrasive conveyance shafts, helping to reduce downtime when components wear out or fail. Aggressive air intake allows for application of more air through the abrasive stream, providing cleaner abrasive and a cleaner cabinet.

The cabinet, made of 0.375-in.-thick manganese alloy, is lined with bolt-in, replaceable, 0.5-in. ship-lapped, cast-chrome wear liners mounted directly opposite of the blast wheels. This protects the blast cabinet from direct blast abrasive impingement.
