Stringer bead brush designed for minigrinders

Weiler has introduced Roughneck® stringer bead weld cleaning brushes specifically for use on 4.5-in. minigrinders. Designed to perform surface preparation, root-pass weld cleaning, and interpass weld cleaning on small angle grinders, the brushes feature a high knot count and a short trim length.

According to the company, when compared to 4-in. stringer bead brushes, the design results in a 35 percent improvement in cleaning action, up to 20 percent less wire loss, and 50 percent longer brush life.

The brushes are available in carbon steel and Type 302 stainless steel wire, with a variety of arbor hole options.
