Stringer bead wheels redesigned for cleaning efficiency

Weiler Abrasives Group has re-engineered its Roughneck® and Wolverine® 4-in. stringer bead wheels to deliver maximum cleaning efficiency and longer life, states the company. They are available in carbon steel and stainless steel.

The new Roughneck Max is made of proprietary wire that is strong, sharp, and resistant to breakage during aggressive brushing. According to the manufacturer, the wheel delivers 40 percent more cleaning power than the closest competitor. The improved knot design provides up to twice the brush life.

The Wolverine, previously known as Vortec Pro®, has been re-engineered with 32 knots. This design delivers 20 percent longer life while maintaining aggressive cleaning power for weld cleaning applications, says the manufacturer.
