Type 27 blending wheel finishes fillet welds

Rex-Cut’s Type 27 blending wheel, designed for controlled blending, helps fabricators blend fillet welds while keeping the integrity of the weld intact.

The wheel is shaped into a curved edge, giving the user the ability to create a true radius shape every time, says the company. The disc is constructed of specialty cotton fiber abrasive material, allowing for grinding with the face, edge, and top of the wheel for even radius blending.

For tight spaces in which right-angle grinders can’t reach, the company makes mounted points with the same abrasive materials as the blending wheels. The points can blend inside corners of handrails and tubing, door handles, and decorative metalwork.
