Vertical dry sander designed for heavy-duty applications

Kalamazoo Industries offers the model S14D vertical dry sander for heavy-duty applications in manufacturing and fabrication. The sander features a 14- by 103-in. belt, a 14-1/2- by 36-in. steel platen, a 14- by 32-in. work surface, a 14- by 18-in. tilt worktable, magnetic controls with a jog function, and air belt tensioning.

The machine is supplied with a 20-HP, three-phase motor driving the belt at 3,400 SFPM. A “wet” model, S14W, also is available with the same features plus a built-in coolant system.
