Weld cleaning brush for use on 4.5-in. minigrinders features high knot count, short trim length

Weiler Corp.'s 4.5-in. Roughneck® weld cleaning brush is designed specifically for use on 4.5-in. minigrinders. According to the manufacturer, welders and fabricators using the minigrinders traditionally have been limited to 4-in.-dia. stringer bead wheels for surface preparation, root-pass weld cleaning, and interpass weld cleaning.

The brush features a high knot count and a short trim length, which the company says results in a 35 percent improvement in cleaning action, up to 20 percent less wire loss, and a 50 percent longer brush life than a comparable 4-in. stringer bead brush.

The brush is available in both carbon steel and Type 302 stainless steel wire with a variety of arbor hole options.
