Weld cleaning brushes feature dual-hex nuts to eliminate need for guard removal - TheFabricator.com

Weiler has introduced the DUALLYâ„¢ stringer-bead brush. It features a new dual-hex nut that helps eliminate interference issues that might otherwise force users to remove the guards from their angle grinders.

The patent-pending design features a nut with a hex on each side of the wheel that is tall enough to ensure adequate clearance on the tool. Featuring a stringer-bead twist that puts the sharp wire tips at the end of the knot, the brush cuts through slag, spatter, and oxidation.

From root pass to cap pass, the brush cleans welds without damaging the filler material.
