Rotary scrap choppers introduced

Red Bud Industries has introduced dual helical scrap choppers. They are offered on the company's slitting lines, multiblanking systems, and cut-to-length lines with edge-trim systems.
The dual helical design uses a scissor-type cutting action, reducing noise and increasing cutting action control. Both knives are attached to a set of rotating drums, which are driven by an electronic drive. Each knife has four edges that can be used before the knives must be sharpened.
