Turret punch press features automatic tool changer
Haco Atlantic offers the latest version of the Q 5 turret punch press with an automatic tool changer to punch through steel up to 0.26 in. thick providing 1,200 HPM.
The press performs punching, nibbling, louvering, rolling, and bending. It is available in 22- or 30-ton capacities with 12 to 20 stations with indexable tools. Tools can be changed while the machine is punching. All 20 stations can take every size tool, including multitool units.
The external tool turret (punch and die holder) changes tools automatically in the punching head, preventing excessive wear of the punch holder. The automatic tool changer helps improve edge quality, eliminating burrs on the punched sheets.
The optimized J frame handles plate dimensions of 118.11 by 59.06 in. without repositioning or 236.22 by 59.06 in. with one repositioning.
