Profile cutting machine cuts pipe, tube, flat plate

HGG's new Multi-Profile Cutting Machine (MPC 350) is designed for construction companies with production volumes that do not justify dedicated machines for profiling pipe.

The machine can be configured to cut pipes, with material positioned on pipe supports and clamped in three jaws of the chuck; to cut box sections, with material positioned on pipe supports in rotators and clamped in two diagonally opposite jaws of the chuck; or to cut profiles from bar flat stock, with the material positioned and individually fixed on a flat cutting table.

CAD files are converted to ready-to-cut formats with the company's ProCAD software, and its ProGRAM software provides a direct link from independent workstations to the cutting machine, which in turn provides basic programming of end cuts to complete part design and programming of all necessary machine cuts (even complex structures). With the DSTV 3-D viewer, users can check and position 3-D parts before machine cutting.
