Fluid cell sheet hydroforming press made for low-volume, high-mix applications

Beckwood offers the Triform model 2496-5BD fluid cell sheet hydroforming press for forming a variety of part sizes in low-volume, high-mix environments. It offers a maximum of 5,000 PSI of evenly distributed forming pressure. The press comes with a single bed shuttle or dual shuttles with front and rear control stations.

According to the manufacturer, the machine’s versatility makes it suitable for forming aerospace ribs, panels, and brackets. Parts with multiple bends typically formed through several operations on a press brake can be transitioned to the hydroforming press for a consolidation of process steps and reduction in overall manufacturing time.

The unit features programmable pressure, onboard diagnostics, multilevel password protection, and a compact design for flush floor operation.
