Rust preventive extends water-based metalworking fluid life

Rustlick from ITW Pro Brands offers a long-term rust preventive that helps extend the life of water-based metalworking fluids by reinforcing their original rust preventives.

Over time cutting fluids lose their ability to protect machines and parts against corrosion, which causes the coolant to be changed prematurely or leads to damaged machines and parts. When the preventive is added to a water-based cutting fluid, machines and parts are protected against corrosion, and waste removal and coolant replacement are reduced.

The preventive can be used on all metals and plastics. It is available in 1-gal. packaging with a recommended dilution ratio of 5 oz. of fluid to every 10 gal. of water.
