Nibbler's free-floating punch design extends use time

Kett Tool Co. has introduced the KL-2020 14-ga. nibbler. The lightweight, wrench-free tool features a rotating head and a die designed for maneuverability in cutting sheet metal.

The tool can be locked into four different positions in 90-degree increments. A twist of the hand changes the angle of the die, while the free-floating punch design extends time between replacements.

The nibbler cuts 14-ga. cold-rolled mild steel and most grades of stainless to 18 ga. The 10.5-in., 4-lb. nibbler delivers a clean, burr-free cut in flat and corrugated sheet metal at up to 65 IPM, the company says.
