2-D laser system cuts thin to thick sheets, cubic components, taps, and chamfers - TheFabricator

Mazak Optonics Corp. offers the SuperTurbo-X Mark III RTC 2-D laser cutting system for cutting thin to thick sheets, cubic components, taps, and chamfers. A rotary table is standard equipment for cutting round pipe up to a maximum diameter of 14.76 in. and square tubes up to 6 in.

The 16.14-in. range of Z travel enables the user to laser-cut preformed parts and other 3-D shapes requiring greater cut height. The machine is available in 2,500-W (0.87-in. CRS) or 4,000-W (1-in. CRS) configurations and accepts up to a 5- by 10-ft. sheet of flat material. It can be delivered with automated material handling systems, including load/unload cells and FMS.

The laser machine features intelligent setup functions for automated nozzle spatter removal, a three-station nozzle changer, focal point measurement and adjustment capability, a servo-driven torch focus system, and an autocentering lens and nozzle.
